By Air

The easiest/fastest way to get here is by air. Sansa Airlines flies from/to SJO International and LIB airport into Cobano airport. You can check their schedules online to see if it fits your booking www.flysansa.com. From Cobano Airport you can take a taxi, there are usually taxis waiting at the airport. Or you can pickup a rental car and do the drive yourself. It is a 20-25 minute drive to Costa Va De Villa depending on raffic

By land

The drive from San Jose will take from 4 to 5 hours including the ferry crossing. The drive from Liberia is 3.5 hours. From San Jose, you will have to drive to Puntarenas, there you take the ferry to Paquera. The drive to Puntarenas is about 1- 1.5 hours from San Jose International Airport. Take the ferry that leaves from Puntarenas port to Paquera port. Check the ferry schedule at Ferry Schedule. The ferry crossing takes about 1 hour and is very scenic, plus a good opportunity to stretch and rest from the drive.

Once you get to Paquera all you have to do is follow the other cars, and follow the signs that say "Malpaís" or "Santa Teresa". You can also use Waze which will take you right to the house.
